Jane Norton crashed her car two years ago at age seventeen. Her passenger and best friend, David, was killed. What happened? No one really knows for sure because Jane has amnesia. She can't remember anything going back three years prior to her wreck when she was only fourteen. At first everyone sympathized with her. Until police found the note she'd supposedly written at the accident site. It said, "I wish we were dead together.". From that, it appeard Jane deliberately caused the accident with the intention of killing both herself and David. Jane was pretty much ostracized by the community. Now someone has sent her a message saying they know what really happened that night. If true, why don't they just come forward with any information they have? Or is something more sinister going on? Something that will drive Jane insane.

A top notch thriller you don't want to miss. I couldn't put it down!

Jeff Abbott always creates complex, relatable characters, but BLAME kicked his skills into overdrive. A masterful rendition of a "he said/she said" that explores how quickly our darkest impulses poison ourselves and the world around us. You need to read this book.
I have been a fan of Jeff Abbott for a long time and this book does not disappoint. If your looking for a page turner and something that will keep you guessing till the very end then give this book a try. Can't wait for his next book.
Amazing story! Well-defined characters with plot twists that you won't see coming. Tragedy in a car crash that erupts in despair, amnesia, and families torn apart. Jeff Abbott is a talented storyteller, and this book will not disappoint the reader.
Jeff Abbott plotted this story so no detail went unexplained. The characters were fully developed except for the main character, Jane. He never gave a physical description of her so I could not get a clear picture of her as she fought to reclaim her memories. I could picture the secondary characters, but the story was lacking for me because I never "saw" Jane. Otherwise exceptional from start to finish.
Jeff Abbott is by far one of my favorite authors. He never let's you down as indicated by this book. I read EVERYTHING he writes and again this is an excellent book!
I just received this book this past Thursday and literally just finished it on the third night. I’ve been a fan of Jeff Abbott’s books for a while and this by far is my favorite. I wasn’t sure what to expect but once it got going I couldn’t stop reading. Jane’s journey of trying to find out what had exactly happened the night of the crash continuously kept me guessing especially when it came to who the real baddie was. I was surprised, more so in the ‘why it happened’. The ending was a nice wrap-up. I would definitely recommend this book if you are looking for a quick and satisfying read. I will say, its the first book in a long time that I couldnt wait to get home and dive back into each of the three nights it took for me to read it!
I have read most of Abbott's books and always expect a well written plot centric story. This one is special, with great character development , a truly complex and surprising plot and plenty of action. Set in Austin, but not really needing a geographic identity, the story revolves around a fatal accident that kills one teen and leaves the other , the driver, an amnesiac. The story really is the driver recovering her life and discovering her truth. A great read
