The Faerie Path Faerie Path No 1 Frewin Jones Books

The Faerie Path by Frewin Jones starts with Anita and her boyfriend, Evan, in the hospital after an accident with a boat. On Anita's birthday, she receives a book as a present from an unknown stranger and is whisked away from London to a faerie world. There she finds out things aren't as they seem. Evan is Edric, a servant to the Lord Gabriel Drake, Drake is actually Anita's fiancé and Anita is really a faerie princess by the name of Tania. (Thankfully Tania and Anita are pretty much the same name, just scrambled. Otherwise, this might become confusing.) Not only is Tania a faerie princess, but she also has six older sisters as well and Tania has a rare ability to step from the faerie world to the mortal world.

Now, this story is one of your very standard, clichéd stories. It's one you think you won't like, but it is a cutesy story. When I say it's clichéd, I mean it's clichéd. You have the typical Mary Sue Princess who doesn't know she's a faerie, who happens to have a special power, who is transported to another magical world, that guy who's in love with her and is actually the evil guy, etc, etc. You know, the normal stuff. It's a generic plot, so it's not like anything would come as a surprise to anyone reading it.

But it's one of those, it's so pathetically clichéd and cheesy, you can't help but like. Yeah, Tania is a Mary Sue. Yeah, the characters are flat. Yeah, the plot isn't interesting and no new twists to it. But the descriptions are beautiful, the teenagers are teenagers, the faerie world is beautiful, and it's a quick read. It's one of those I need a light read type of book. Some may not like and it's probably more for younger adults, but it's still a cute book. I have read all the books and have purchased all of them afterwards. Clearly I like them. They're like bubblegum reading. What I mean by that is, it's nice when you want something sweet, carefree. But you don't want it all the time.

The Faerie Path Faerie Path No 1 Frewin Jones Books Reviews

Only really got into this for a little bit, it started at a 6th grade level and gradually got better (or I stopped noticing). Ended okay, but I don't plan on continuing with the series.
Love this book. Read it when i was younger and it still is amazing a true classic
It was a little ripped but what can you expect when you buy used but I don't mind. Its one of Mt fav books
I order for my daughter, cause my daughter love to read all time.
This book was super cute! it was a breath of fresh air!
The faerie path was true to its name, it was a fairy tale through and through. The charters were all perfectly defined and that has to be hard since there are at least 11 main charters in including Anita (the main main charter).

Anita is just an ordinary girl living in her ordinary town of London. Her 16th birthday is approaching. the day before her birthday she was in a boat crash. or so it seems. She is at the hospital on the night of her 16 birthday. When a man suddenly appears and asks her to follow him. as soon as she is on the balcony and takes his hand everything changes. He brings her to the fairy kingdom where she learns she is actually the long lost fairy princess Tania. The only problem is she cant remember anything about being Tania. Though her returned presence brings joy to the kingdom, her return could mean the end of it. As Anita struggles to remember her past, she starts to wonder why she left in the first place. If maybe she had saved the kingdom by not being there.
I am an adult who has read and loved the etire book series. It is a great fairy tale of both moder and past times. As she travels between the worlds and finds love and adventure. It is a great book series for pre teens to adults. I can't wait for the sixth book to come out on paperback. All the books arived fast and in excellent condition. I would highly recomend theese books to anyone who loves fantasy and adventure.
