I left religion that I grew up in where I do not have a choice to explore where my heart belongs. After reading this, it brought me to tears knowing I am not alone. America gave us freedom of speeches, that includes religion but this kind of religion does not allow us people to choose if we are unhappy. I did ended up seeing a therapist to untwined my messed up mind about God and purpose of living on this earth. It took me years to take courage to stand up and walk out with no guilt feelings. After accident, God is still here with me through hard time, now I am happily married to wonderful man who listened everything I went through and he has knowledge of bible to help me to see behind the bible and purpose of life. I read this book along with several books. Now I am feeling at peace. I don't hate religions, just respect their wishes and I expected to be respected for my wishes as well.Product details

I received my copy of Bo's book late one night after arriving home from working a 12 hour that had turned into a 14+hour shift. It had been delivered to my mailbox that afternoon. Being an avid reader, I had been looking forward to adding "The Least Of God's Priorities" to my library collection. I wanted to begin reading the book that night, but I was in no shape what so ever to do so. Shower and sleep were what my exhausted body and mind desperately needed. I was just going to peruse through a few pages before falling asleep... Or so I though. A few hours later I had finished the entire book. When I was finished reading I just sat in silent contemplation of all I had just experianced. At that moment I knew something with crystal clarity and absolute certainty. THIS BOOK WILL SAVE LIVES. Period, thats all that needs to be said. The book is that powerful. Physical lives will be saved because this man put his story into printed word. I have since ordered additional copies that I will be gifting to the local libraries and mental health professionals in my home city. A debt of gratitude is owed this author for having the gracious heart and love for his fellow man, so much that it compelled him to share his story so that others may live.
I am embarrassed to have not yet finished this excellent book; I can only explain that sometimes the content of literature hits close to home and requires several visits before one can digest it.
This book is particularly difficult for me to read, only because it is so powerful. The fact that my good friend wrote it does not in any way make it less terrifying to read, but with each part I finish, I feel myself healing.

Enlightening review of what's it's really like for those trapped inside the Jehovah's Witness organization -- especially the innocent children. It breaks my heart to read of the treatment Bo received as a child and as a wounded young man all in the name of the Watchtower Society. Thankfully Bo is a strong individual who overcame the odds and now dedicates his life to helping others either still inside the cult or those who have exited the cult and are still hurting.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book!! Having been raised a JW from age 4, it brought back lots of memories. Anyone who is contemplating getting involved in this so called religion, definitely needs to read it!
This book is absolutely AWESOME!! Bo Juel has been able to masterfully describe the horrors of growing up in the JW Cult. The different types of abuse that he endured all at the same time could've crushed his soul... but it didn't. Even in his darkest moments he continued to move forward, sometimes not knowing what was at the end of that dark tunnel. Bo Juel is a man of strength and an inspiration to all of us that have been abused as children within the Watchtower Cult. Bo's story can help anyone who has been a victim of any type of undue influence...
Beautifully written but heart wrenching. I strongly recommend this book.
Good book about being raised in the Jehovah Witness religion, and how little the religion cares for children raised in it. For those of us who have been Jehovah's Witnesses at one time it is an true account. Thank Bo Juel for telling your story.
